This is the best news concerning Hank Williams’ biography and his mysterious death I have heard in a long time. Now we should start to get some answers you can trust. Keith Adkinson, Jett Williams’ husband, from what I can determine, is a tenacious very competent attorney who has already scored two huge victories on Hank Williams’ issues in the courts.
Remember Keith won Jett a share of the Hank Williams estate and then won full ownership of the Mother’s Best recordings for Jett Williams and Hank Williams Jr. To win these battles “The Duo” as they call themselves tackled and beat very powerful wealthy and entrenched interests aligned to protect the Hank Williams estate and the ownership of a very valuable property. The famous Mother’s Best acetates had been thrown in the trash by WSM before being rescued and preserved by an employee. In the end I think ownership was claimed by just about everybody involved, the rescuer, the radio station, recording company, publisher and of course Jett and Hank Jr. Adkinson beat them all.
Kieth Adkinson is a shrewd sharp Washington lawyer who from what I understand never gives up and is dogged and determined in pursuing any cause he decides to take on. Before undertaking the Jett Williams’ case in 1982 he had worked on a variety of legal issues,and become a prominent Washing attorney including work for Congressional Committee and the Reagan campaign. He married Jett Williams in 1986, and now practices law in Nashville.
In the latest issue of the Jett Williams’ newsletter to fans it’s clear that Keith and Jett are really getting serious about the mysteries surrounding the death of Hank Williams on an ill conceived dangerous trip from Montgomery to Canton Ohio on the New Years’ Eve Weekend in 1952-53. According to the article Jett is using her Sirious/XM radio show to report on their findings.

Interestingly, I have received a few comments on this blog concerning this issue, one of which comes from the son of a prominent figure mentioned in the Jett Williams’ report, as well as some from Hank Williams’ newsletter author Beecher O’Quinn.
I am more interested in Hank Williams’ works, reputation, legacy, and his survival into future generations than details of his biography and death, about which I admit I am not well-informed.
But when this movie news started coming out I did make some comments on Hank’s last days which come about half way down this blog posting.
Not many people have made the observations I did on that post. My feelings are based on intuition not research I guess, but I am very happy to see Keith Adkinson on this baffling story of Hank’s tragic, sad last days on earth.
I know one thing for sure, if Keith and Jett spend the time and resources on this as they appear to be doing, I think their integrity would be enough for me to accept their conclusions, whatever they are, and put the issue to rest, finally.
The way I figured this out, is Hank died between 11:45pm – 12:30am, just before the arrived in Blaine, Tn at 1:00am
The reason why I think this is because the officer said something is wrong with him, but stopped talking about it and allowed him to pass by with a ticket.
Also there is stories about that Hank didn’t die in 1953, but it was much later like in 1958, I don’t know how true this is but I found a source on facebook about saying about proof, the name I came across was a woman by the name Melody Rose Williams, saying she was kidnapped, stolen and human trafficking and was family of Hank Williams, I just found this out like 2 days ago. There is no way to contact her. She posts almost everyday. She also contacted Hilary through her Facebook and said this:
What is it that makes my biological relatives disregard me. I am the biological sister of your dad, from both your grandmother and your grandfather. That makes me your biological aunt, not half blood from one or the other of the two, but from Hank and Audrey… Daddy had no other children from mom that I can remember traveling with us; mom had Lycrecia, but I do remember them referring to her as Stephanie. Curiosity had me name my first child Melody, which was my birthname; now they call me Dorothy “legally”, however they achieved that after dad was murdered. My second child I named Stephanie in 1992; that is the reverse of me and “Lycrecia”, the oldest Stephanie, the youngest Melody, and my two children with those names was something the two women closest to me in that family knew, as mine and my half sister’s names. Raised some eyebrows to say the least, when I named my first child by my very own birthname, because they knew; and I did not in 1984. In 2005, my memory was restored and I set off of a trek of trying to visit and talk with and reunited with my brother/your dad. Why doesn’t anyone address me to him. Ask him about his baby sister Melody; which may have been presented to him as buried in Montgomery in that small grave in the family plot; I am not there, the grave is empty, you can check with graveyards laws and procedures about that. The grave is empty because it is not engraved with the dead person’s birth and death dates and information. I was kidnapped by Lycrecia’s relatives, [mom knew that], they murdered dad, and I have worn their name all of those years; but I am your dad’s sister, and I need to talk to him… mine and dad’s information needs to be corrected to it’s reality; the fiction needs to come off of us and our descendants! 53 years is enough, and in fact I don’t know how many months are involved in the 54 year of it, but I can tell people when, where, why, and who murdered dad; and I have contacted the local authorities to get that done in that location/city where dad was murdered and my nightmare got extended to this length of time; when it should have ended in 1973, when I was legally 18 years of age, not a Miley, and daddy’s daughter by any other name, which left me wide open for the fraud business people made of my life from that point to this…. Regard me Hilary, I am not a fruitcake, I am your biological aunt, Lycrecia has known “where I was, who the family is I am not related to”, and she kept her mouth shut so she could call my father daddy and earn her celebrity status and money that way; when that is a lie from hell, and has always been, just like dad told mom, and I will quote him just so it is known I know what I am talking about; dad would say “Audrey you are crazy as hell, this child is mine, and that one ain’t”, and Lord God he meant it, and so do I.
Finally had the opportunity, thanks to an acquaintance that is a photographer; to update my picture. The last one I had taken was in 2007… not much difference in my appearance from then, but grateful to have another photo to show my countenance in 2011, these 4 years later. Slavery is not good for anyone’s personal economy, and I wish I could escape it now. I’ve been deprived of my own reality since my toddler’s age, via many an illegal process, including my kidnapping, and the murder of my biological father; and I can prove them every one as illegal as they are and have been!
Everything past my 4th year of life is fictional… everything up to that point was a source of envy to every female living; including my mother Audrey Mae Sheppard Guy [and for the money invovled in the marriage; Williams], and her daughter, my half sister from/with Mr. Guy before my brother, me and my dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope I am not a source of envy for my biological brother, but after trying to contact and visit with him for almost 7 years now; I am not so sure if that is not true too! To be the envy of the world, because your father was murdered, and you wound up being the most high dollar earning slave the U.S. and it’s allies has ever had “possession and [somewhat control over mel; if you can say they control me, without laughing your ass off, as I do about that!!!!] It just proves they are just as pitifully dependent on “the doesn’t exist free money” that they can steal as the rest of the bunch is….

i don’t think he’d like bing a girl, and I don’t like a man’s financial responsibility for another woman and her children, so… something is seriously wrong in this “dependency world”, it is out of whack and in need of correction, of lies and false financial portfolio’s where I am concerned, and possibly where he is too, up against some other people who have “owned our family’s reality” and used it against us and for their families….
After doing a long tiring research on Hank Williams I do believe something is fishy, I also believe that Hank Williams was murdered, but by whom? is still a mystery. I don’t believe that Charles Carr, who is a relative was telling the truth, nor do I believe that… I believe there is a big cover up and I know it has to do with a relative of Hank Williams in his era. And as Melody is concern I don’t know what to believe with that one. Psycho path I think, But I do know this, Hank was in a hotel with a………..X
I have more stories on Melody that she has written on her facebook. I don’t know who she is or why she wants Hank Williams Jr but something is fishy with that too. I think the one should be addressed about this is Lycrecia. She knows something about this and why Melody is saying this. This is something that someone needs to check into

Charles Carr planted the whiskey and beer in the back seat, a cover up. He was only 17, not 19 like people say he was when he drove Hank Williams. And there is other things that need to be addressed, including why would anyone go to Kentucky and then back down to West Virginia? There is enough information to say its fishy. There is 6 people who murdered Hiram Hank Williams. I found this out in March of 2011 by myself. Toby Marshall is Horace R. Marshall was convicted for Armed Robbery and was just fresh out of San Quinton and McAlester prison for Forgery. He brought a diploma for $35.00 from the Chicago school of Applied science. Lilly, his mother, went on a short tour of Texas with Hank and was seen tucking gate receipts which should have gone to Hank instead, but they went right into her purse instead. Lilly and fake dr. Toby Marshall were always in the background and Billie Jean hated them both. Sometimes she would walk in finding Lilly sticking a needle into Hank’s arm and Lilly would say it was vitamins. Toby Marshall should be in prison for life. And in March of 1953, Toby was sent back to prison where he belongs and he died there.
Charles Carr and Donald Surface checked into the emergency room in Oak Hill hospital and from the forensic evidence, claimed that Hank Williams died in his sleep while in his Cadillac that was being driven through Kentucky, about an hour or so before his body was discovered in Oak Hill.
Why would they get to Kentucky and then drive back to Oak Hill?
Hiram Hank Williams died from Toby Marshall, Audrey Williams and Lilly Williams, those three had something to do with Hank’s death, on top of what Charles Carr was doing, he was driving to Ohio and somehow ended up in Kentucky and found out that Hank died, went back to West Virginia and was in a panic.
A policeman who stopped the car for ignoring speed restrictions remarked, ‘That guy looks dead‘.
When Charles finally pulled in Oak Hill gas station for fuel after feeling in the backseat and noticing that Hank was unresponsive and becoming rigid, cold as ice and was leaned on the right side of the seat, it was only when Charles sought help.
When EMS came and upon closer examination, it was discovered that Hank Williams was dead. Well DUH!

Hank was close to death or dead between 11:45pm and 12:50am, reason why I think this is what (Michelle, my brother’s girlfriend said that‘s what happened to my brother, he too was making wheezing and coughing at 8:30am, but still alive and she didn‘t call EMS until 10:45am on October 3, 2011, she MURDERED my brother!), because when Hank’s car was stopped at 1:00 by the officer said something is wrong.

My Brother was on the Knoxville Police Dept. and was one of two officers that were called to go to the Andrew Johnson Hotel to help him get to the car that was taking him to his next concert. They took him down and put him in the back seat. My brother told me he was dead then before he left Knoxville. I wish my Brother was still alive so he could fill in more details about this.
